Clare Cousins
Director, Clare Cousins Architects
Clare Cousins established Melbourne practice Clare Cousins Architects in 2005. Based on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Eastern Kulin Nation, the studio is engaged in projects large and small including housing, workplace, and cultural projects. Each project is an opportunity for the studio's team to explore what they value; a nuanced sense of place, embedded with a responsibility to our environment.
Actively involved in the broader design community, Clare is a life fellow and past national president of the Australian Institute of Architects.
Damien Mulvihill
Joint Creative Director, Design Office
Damien Mulvihill is a joint creative director of Design Office, an interior and architectural design practice committed to delivering human-centred spaces that are emotionally resonant and contribute to everyday life.
With over 25 years of experience, Damien has worked in design studios in London, Asia and the US. Damien has a personal passion for spatial planning, the psychology of space and the resolution of fine detail, using these tools to create spaces which feel great for work, life and play.
Di Ritter
Associate, Hassell
Di Ritter is an interior designer with 25 years of professional experience, who specializes in a cross-section of typologies. With a focus on experimental design, Di has led projects that range from large-scale hospitality venues to bespoke high-end residential dwellings.
Having worked at Hassell since 2010, Di is passionate about creating spaces that evoke an emotional response. She works closely with the client to bring life to the project beyond the plans and elevations: it’s about space and materials and the human condition.
