Laurens Bekemans is an architect and co-founder of BC Architects and Studies. BC is a hybrid practice based in Brussels, Belgium, designing and undertaking "acts of building" towards systemic change in the construction sector.
Since March 2022, Laurens has led the construction and design department at the faculty of architecture at RWTH Aachen, Germany. Previous to this teaching position, Laurens was a lecturer at the faculty of architecture of KU Leuven in Belgium, and a visiting lecturer at the German University of Technology in Oman.
