Nearly two decades of work across Melbourne’s architectural landscape has shaped the sensibility that underpins Adriana Hanna Office. Founded by Hanna as an independent practice, the studio integrates architecture, interiors and curation into a cohesive offering. That period of close to twenty years, including directorship at Kennedy Nolan, established Hanna as known for creating and delivering residential and commercial projects across scale, with high-quality built outcomes and meticulous attention to elegant detail.
At the helm of AHO, Hanna’s creative principles of honesty and longevity are at the fore, with an approach to design that is both instinctive and exacting. She is dedicated to working with projects that value quality design and foreground real materials, craftsmanship and authenticity.
Deeply embedded within the architecture and design community, Hanna is actively involved with the Australian Institute of Architects as both a juror and jury chair for the Victorian Chapter Awards, and across a range of national awards programs. She is also a chapter councillor of the Design Institute of Australia in Victoria and Tasmania, contributing to ongoing conversations around excellence, advocacy and the future of the profession.
