Eva-Marie Prineas
Principal, Studio Prineas
Eva-Marie Prineas is the principal of Studio Prineas, a practice that has steadily been building a portfolio of architecture and interiors projects that embody quiet luxury over the past 20 years.
Eva-Marie’s background and passion for heritage conservation and environmentally low impact design forms the basis of the Studio Prineas philosophy of understanding and adapting places that are already special. Eva-Marie’s award-winning approach to design stems from an intuitive understanding of what to keep and what to cleverly adapt. She prides herself on her studio’s collaborative skills and personally invests in client relationships to ensure each project is a combined effort with a shared vision.
Sarah-Jane Pyke
Principal, Arent and Pyke
With over 20 years of professional design experience, Sarah-Jane Pyke understands the necessity for interiors to be authentically mindful of place and those who inhabit them. Her concepts are clever, not tricky, and her meticulous approach to carving space is underpinned by a sensual elegance that enhances volume and natural light.
Sarah-Jane’s design outcomes are beautifully sumptuous given their focus upon tactile elements. Playing to an organic order, her appreciation for true craftsmanship is evident in her innovative approach to enhancing the natural power of expressive stone and timber varieties in her intricately detailed custom creations. Possessing an eye for unexpected pairings – most notably manifesting in engaging curations of artworks with prized objects and furnishings – her work translates into equal parts fresh, visceral and functional, above all else sparking enquiry and eliciting delight.
Patrick Kennedy
Partner, Kennedy Nolan
Patrick Kennedy is a founding partner of Kennedy Nolan. He helped establish and continues to lead the practice’s distinctive design direction. Patrick has delivered a number of public lectures on design around Australia and New Zealand and has taught in the masters program at the University of Melbourne. He has been a juror for programs by the Australian Institute of Architects and the New Zealand Institute of Architects, and many other design competitions.
Patrick is an active member of the Australian Institute of Architects, serving on committees and most recently was on the editorial committee for The Australian House: The Robin Boyd Award. He is a founding member of the Boyd Circle and is also on the board of the Robin Boyd Foundation and the Affinity Quartet.
