Xu Tiantian is the founding principal of DnA Design and Architecture. Xu received her Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and her Baccalaureate in Architecture from Tsinghua University in Beijing. She has received WA Chinese Architecture Awards for 2006 and 2008, a 2008 Young Architects Award from the Architectural League of New York, a Design Vanguard feature by Architectural Record, and 2019 Moira Gemmill Prize for Emerging Architecture.
Xu has designed a number of projects such as Songzhuang Art Center and Ordos Art Museum. In the past years, Xu has engaged extensively with rural revitalizing processes in Songyang County in Zhejiang, an architectural acupuncture to work with different context and heritage of village and rural regions. Xu has also initiated “Field Work Station” in Songyang, as an open platform for artists and designers to exchange with rural culture.
