Signe Kongebro is a Danish architect and global design director for urbanism at Henning Larsen in Copenhagen. Signe studied architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 1999, before joining Henning Larsen in 2001 and making partner in 2008.

In 2007 Signe founded Henning Larsen’s sustainability department. She is one of the driving forces behind the growing focus on sustainable construction in the industry, with extensive knowledge of sustainability in construction and resource-conscious design.

Signe is also at the forefront of efforts to link innovation and new knowledge with architecture, making her a highly sought-after board member and founding partner of initiatives such as the REBUS partnership and sustainable build. Signe has been partner-in-charge on a wide range of Henning Larsen’s prestigious projects, including the KAB House in Copenhagen (2021), Frederiksbjerg School in Aarhus (2017), Siemens Global Headquarters in Munich, and Moesgaard Museum in Aarhus (2013).
