Shelley Penn is an architect, urbanist and non-executive director. She has more than 35 years’ experience encompassing architectural practice and senior strategic advisory roles, supporting government and the private sector to advance outcomes for all people through the quality of the built environment. Shelley is a member of state Design Review Panels in Victoria, ACT, NSW and WA; associate professor at Melbourne University; and adjunct professor in architecture practice at Monash University, where she is also the University Architect. She is a Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects, and in 2021, she was made a Member of the Order of Australia.
