Seow Kin Yong has more than thirty years of experience in the development and management of infrastructure facilities, with twelve years in the healthcare industry. Her other experience includes developing and managing state-of-the-art semiconductor facilities, advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing plants and a world renowned airport. The high standards demanded in these various service and manufacturing facilities have given her a solid foundation in developing high quality healthcare facilities that meet the users’ need.
In her current role as director of Facilities Development at Singapore Health Services, Seow Kin oversees the design and development of healthcare infrastructure facilities in the public healthcare sector, which includes two tertiary hospitals, ve national medical centres, a community hospital and nine polyclinics.
Seow Kin regularly speaks at healthcare design conferences and has actively participated in developing several healthcare design guidelines.
