Maggie Ma is an architect with both commercial and community experience. Since 2010, she has focused her career on social projects, specializing in people-based, socially sustainable design. With experience in building relationships, diplomacy and realizing ideas, Maggie and Mark Kingsley set up Domat, a not-for-profit architectural practice to realize projects through design, implementation and research in Hong Kong and China. Through the practice, she has worked on education facilities in rural China and is working with several underprivileged communities in Hong Kong. Domat was a finalist in the Architectural Review Emerging Architecture Award (AREA) in 2018.
