Julian is a principal at BVN and has extensive experience in the areas of education, research and health. He is active in all areas of architecture, including masterplanning, concept design, user group consultation, documentation and contract administration. He has strong interest in bringing these areas of expertise together and applying them to each new building challenge. He is also interested in the development of new paradigms, particularly in the exploration of building types and their potential for varied application.
Since joining BVN in 2009, Julian has predominantly been involved in health and research projects and has recently worked on a number of major projects, including the National Life Sciences Hub at Charles Sturt University, the Westmead Millennium Institute, the CSIRO Black Mountain Consolidation Project, the Health Innovation Building for the University of South Australia, the Discovery Centre for the Powerhouse Museum and the Father John Therry, All Hallows and St Marks Catholic Primary Schools.
