Emma Healy is an architect of Irish convict and British coloniser heritage working and raising a family in Meanjin. Her work is centred on community engagement, inclusive design practice and creating social impact. In 2019 she was the Australian Institute of Architect’s Queensland Emerging Architect of the year. She founded the multidisciplinary practice Landings Studio with her horticulturalist husband in 2022. She is part of the teaching team in the Masters of Architecture program at the University of Queensland in Climate Futures and is undertaking research in Design Advocacy and Activism. Emma collaborates with Loata on the A I Tatadra project and as part of Women Build.
