The Architecture Symposium: Acts of Generosity
Expanding the boundaries of civic design. Curated by Amy Muir and Rachel Neeson.
Danielle Peck is co-director of Architecture Associates, which was established in 2016. She has been practising architecture for more than 15 years, working on a wide variety of projects. She is interested in architecture that embeds stories of culture, place and ecology and has a particular focus on working with arts sector clients, believing that spaces for the arts are vital civic contributors that promote open-minded, compassionate societies.
Danielle leads projects from concept phase through to construction completion, translating design ideas from broad contextual concerns to details and taking an active role in engagement with the building process. She received her education in Australia with a small but formative stint in the United States, where she worked on a project in New Orleans and considered the vast Mississippi water territory, cultures of the Delta regions and communities in shifting terrains. Aside from practice, Danielle also currently holds a position as an industry fellow at Monash University.
