The Architecture Symposium: Reset
Redefining the nature of home. Curated by Jemima Retallack and Aaron Peters.
After working for the architectural practice Office Kersten Geers David van Severen in Belgium, Andrew moved back to Australia to teach and build. His first built project, House with a Guest Room, was published in Architecture Australia. Andrew was invited to speak about this project for Dasverein in Basel, Corridor in Lausanne and Dreyers Fond in Copenhagen.
For the last few years, Andrew has been leading a studio at Melbourne University in collaboration with Kate Finning – focussing on the domestic plan. For Andrew, architecture is about proportion and arrangement. He believes that strong proportions can elevate even the most simple idea.
