Thinking Ahead: Designing the Evolving Campus
Adam Davies is a principal at Hassell, where he works as a sector leader for education and science and leader of Hassell's cultural and engagement group. He is a specialist master planner and designer focused on the education, science and health sectors. He has been the project director on numerous campuses' briefing, feasibility, urban design and master plan commissions.
Adam is an advocate and active participant in developing leading thinking on the evolution of campus environments as integrated components within our cities. He believes their design should foster greater levels of integration with their locations, delivering improved social, cultural and economic outcomes whilst welcoming the community through and into these environments.
Before his role at Hassell, Adam held positions at Architecture and Design Scotland in Edinburgh, The Commission for Architecture and Built Environment, and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister in London.
