Speakers.
John Ellway
John Ellway runs a small architectural practice with a love for creating places where people live, inspired by their stories of travel and family memories. His goal is to create simple, functional buildings that delight and surprise through the control of light, shadow and landscape, with a focus on local materials, climate, and social relationships.
Will Rathgeber
Founding Director, Studio Plenty
Will Rathgeber is the founder and director of Studio Plenty, a Byron Bay–based practice exploring the duality of intimate monumentalism across hospitality, residential and experiential projects. His work seeks to create spaces that are both emotionally resonant and architecturally rigorous, balancing warmth with clarity.
Rathgeber’s perspective is shaped by work across local and international contexts, with a focus on atmosphere, materiality and the social life of interiors.
Iva Foschia
Founder and Principal, IF Architecture
Iva Foschia founded IF Architecture in 2010 and has since grown the practice’s portfolio to encompass diverse residential, commercial, and retail work. She brings a collaborative approach to every project, believing that early and open engagement with clients leads to more integrated and meaningful outcomes. Known for her curiosity and attention to detail, Iva approaches the design process as a journey that begins and ends in a uniquely realised place.
