Sunday
Presented by
Michael Roper, Founding director, Architecture Architecture
Sophie Cunningham and Virginia Murdoch, Client
Architecture Architecture director Michael Roper and his clients Sophie Cunningham and Virginia Murdoch will discuss the design of Sunday, a skilled reimagining of a small terrace in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy. The result achieves rich and varied spatial experiences that belie a compact plan.
Quadrant House
Presented by
Kieron Gait, Director, Kieron Gait Architects
Angela Vivian, Client
Kieron Gait, director of Kieron Gait Architects, will be joined by client Angela Vivian to share their experiences of designing Quadrant House, a modest extension to a Queenslander worker’s cottage. A mindset of less house and more garden drove this measured adaptation, which cleverly repurposed an existing deck to reframe an experience of landscape.
