Justin Northrop, director of Techné Architecture + Interior Design, is renowned as a designer of edgy hospitality spaces, transforming empty shells into dynamic, people-friendly establishments where food, wine and good cheer abound. Techne’s Melbourne projects include The Bridge Hotel, Prahran Hotel and Fonda Mexican restaurant.

Arkhefield
Angela Layton leads Arkhefield’s interior design discipline and has worked within the hospitality, retail and commercial fields. Angela’s primary passion is contributing to spaces that are regularly inhabited by people to create memorable experiences. Notable projects include the Urbane Restaurant redevelopment in Brisbane and Stokehouse in South Bank, Brisbane.

Ryan Squires opened Brisbane restaurant Esquire in 2011 after more than a decade working as a chef in some of the best kitchens around the world. Ryan will discuss what it was like to work with Hassell on Esquire from a client’s perspective and what he loves and loathes in restaurant interiors.
